How is a “FLEXING” done?
Grasp the sheet at the 2 opposite corners, run it back to back over a straight and sharp edge (eg table edge) to «break» the glue that binds the abrasive grains. The latter remain stuck, but separate from each other.

Why a “FLEXING”?
To give greater flexibility to the sheets, while preserving their sanding qualities.
Only the sheets whose manufacturing principle consists of electrostatic spreading of the abrasive in the resin bond must undergo a “flexing”. The micro abrasive grains are based on the principle of pouring an abrasive emulsion on the base material, so they do not have to undergo “flexing”.
