Often called "Corindon" of a superior quality, exempt of iron, very finely calibrated.
Of brown color, it is used for:
• gluing of wheels

Very soft, for the final polishing of glass, optics, etc.

Often called "Carborundum", the silicon carbide is one of the hardest artificial grits.
It has a grey/black color, it'shiny and ideal for:
